In 2019, 2022 and 2023, EAAF participated in the Regional Francophone School of Forensic Anthropology (École régionale francophone d’anthropologie médico-légale), organized by the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis in collaboration with the local delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The objective was to train French-speaking forensic professionals in technical aspects of excavation and exhumation, in the establishment of a forensic anthropology laboratory, and in techniques for handling complex forensic anthropology cases.
In addition, at the request of the ICRC and in collaboration with the Argentine Embassy in Tunisia and Argentine Fund for International Cooperation FO.AR, EAAF conducted an intensive training course on the management of human remains in emergency situations, covering the stages of the forensic identification process and the linking of various lines of evidence.
